So what is Resilient Beginnings/Parents as Teachers?

Home Visiting

1

Our Parent Educators meet you where you are - literally. We come to your home (or another community location) to meet with you! Home visits include multiple focus areas - learn more about those below!

The focus(es)

2

Each visit includes multiple focuses: Parent-Child Interaction, Development-Centered Parenting, and Family Well-Being. Every visit provides an opportunity for you and your child to try a new activity - the activities are relatively simple, but they have a huge impact on learning!

Development Screenings

3

In addition to regular home visits - we also provide developmental screenings - these are a part of the home visits and you will always get the result. If a concern is noted, a referral can be made on your behalf.

Group Connections

4

We also provide group connections - an opportunity for you to interact with other families, take part in fun activities, and even have the chance to help coordinate them (if you want, this is never required).

There are so many proven benefits! A few of them include: increased school readiness, improved family well-being, increased knowledge of child development, and more! PLUS, you get to learn and practice free, simple, non-screen related activities that are appropriate for YOUR child’s developmental stage.

The easiest way to get started is to book an appointment directly on our website! You can also email us or fill out the form below. We prefer to do things electronically simply because we work non-traditional hours (if a parent works full-time, we meet them in the evening or weekend instead of during traditional working hours).

If you prefer to call, you can contact our Executive Director directly at 701-721-7403 - please leave a message if you don’t get an answer.
